1947 Schwinn DX

this is my schwinn... i hate stock so I built a race style cruiser
hope you like

bike came from ebay. original paint have all original parts, chose not to use them. 175mm redline proline cranks, crupi pedals, polished chris king headset not installed yet, phil wood 36h hub, atom 36h rear drum hub crupi bars, hollow pin chain, as always 26" threaded landing gear forks. its almost ready togo. hope you like

that is really cool. i have a set of profile cranks that i didn't know what to do with.  i am going to find an old 26" frame, and see what i can come up with . very interesting and different

I was really wondering what the function was for that extra tube that extended all the way to the forks... 
Then I realized that it's part of the nautilus machine! lol tongue
