1981 Raleigh Tuff Burner MK 1

Purchased by my parents from Halfords in 1981

It has been on my to do list for years, so with only the original frame left in my possession I commenced the restoration of my Raleigh Tuff Burner, originally purchased by my parents from Halfords in 1981. lets face it 1980'S Raleigh Burners were never kept to factory spec, hence mine represents how they really were, e.g.: switched wheels, upgraded parts etcetera.

Everybody comes to a point in there life when they want to quit, but it's what you do at that moment that determines who you are. See i don't want to hear from people that tell me success is easy, i want to hear from the people who fought it out, who went all twelve rounds with life and got to the other side.
