94 performer, 99 gt box, 99 mach 1, 84 gt pro
i built this gt to replicate the one i had when i was 12 years old. meant a lot to me because my good friend taught me some flatland tricks on my performer that looked like this. he ended up passing away a few years later in a car accident
gt box-this was the bike i wish i could of had when i was 11 years old. here i am 25 and i finally own one.
how many 25 year old mothers do you meet that do old school bmx? WANTED 16" REAR FREEWHEEL SPOKE RIM

no way.
My Father once spoke to me and said "The way you look at your bike is the way I see My children, I look past the imperfections and rough surfaces to the beauty of the finished product."

Re: GT obsession!
Posted this in another thread, might as well post it here too.. Does anyone know what the difference between the 86 and 87 forks is? Did the 87 forks have holes in the dropouts? I know the PFT had the cables guide run through the forks, but is there any difference between the performers and pro performers fork from 86 and 87?
Please respond here if you can.. http://bmxmuseum.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=451268

Re: GT obsession!
Well I guess I am now firmly in the GT camp. I always loved them and now that I built a Torker, I immediately sinned and tried to trade for another GT! Now to find a pink Performer for my daughter as she informed me her Redline Proline was junky and she wants a GT. Not sure where she gets that...junky? but I guess she has GT envy
