1985 PTR Trickstyler

PTR , Patrick Thomas and Rainer a german Trickteam from the 80s designed this Frame and Fork called PTR Trickstyler.

This is a 1985 made "Modell 86"

Nice one. I just met Rainer, the 'R' in PTR, with his family at the bmxmasters in Cologne. Those dudes used to rock BITD, cosponsored by Haro, and some seriously nice guys as well...
Patrick, Thomas, Rainer, besser kann es keiner...

even in Germany very rare and nearly impossible to find. It was the first freestyle bike ever made in germany and was voted freestyle bike of the Year in 1984 by the readers of the german BMX Magazine "BMX Speed".

Endlich ein PTR Trickstyler. Ich dachte schon die wÃ¤ren ausgestorben. Deutlich zu erkennen, daÃŸ es die 2. Serie ist am dritten Oberrohr. Und die Gabel gab es anfangs auch nicht. Sehr schÃ¶ne Arbeit, Bernd. Hoffentlich trauen sich die anderen jetzt auch aus ihrem Versteck:)

ja zuerst gabs den 84er Rahmen, Anfang 85 folgte die Gabel.
Dann kam Ende 85 die zweite Version auf den Markt die als "Modell 86" verkauft wurde...

Now i tryed a Gyro, but i had to remove the Stempad.

I decide to use the Pad not the Gyro.

thx Caleb, i removed the radberry Masters with the Haro Tires and added some mint white Masters with NOS GT Tyres ...

looks better now

It's awesome to see these bikes in action. looks like they have great geometry for freestyle. nice low top tube for good clearance too.
