1999 GT Pro Series XL
1999 GT Pro Series XL
My current race bike, lovingly thrashed
1999 GT Pro Series XL. Chromoly frame, 20.9 inch toptube built with some Reynolds 631 butted tubing. Midnight Blue paint, original. complete with chips from race action. Profile 180 cranks, GT chainwheel, GT Rythym system upgrade wheels with sealed cartridge bearing hubs, unique eyeletted perimeter spokebed rims, S+M Slam Bars, Polished S+M Redneck lite stem, Shimano XTR V Brakes, Pewter and silver King Headset, DX Clipless pedals. Replaced the stock downtube decals with 99 performer downtube decals, now chipping away and will leave it without. Rest o the decals are original. One of the last lightweight steel GT racebikes, Ready for a new season.

Re: 1999 GT Pro Series XL
Hi. Love the GT. Have been given the very same bike free form my brother and in the process of restoring it. If you have any info you could help me , i'd be very greatful. This is the only other 99 XL + i've ever seen. Thanks for posting it. James, UK.

Re: 1999 GT Pro Series XL
The pro series XL plus is very rare and it's one of the most beautiful bmx steel frame. I think it was the last US handmade. It was sold frame only (I have the french catalog year 2000... )
