1988 Redline RL-20II

Restored early 88 Mango RL-20II

I picked up this Mango RL-20II frame, fork and bars on eBay. It did start life as a real mango but the frame / fork and bars were restored when I got them. I added everything else. C4 did the powder on the Nippon, rear 990 and the full wrap Redlines. I built the wheels of of a totally beat set. I built a custom half polished / brushed Araya rim and I fully polished the Suzie hubs. NOS PD-MX15 pedals powdered white. Polished Redline chain ring. NOS Z chain. NOS in the package ACS Pro Rotor found at my LBS. Super nice original finish Redline 6 bolt stem. Repro Redline Plate. Mint Peregrine tires, seat and seat clamp. NOS Tange fluted post from Earl's collection. New Unitrons and NOS Cal -Lite orange checkered donuts. I love the way this turned out!!

Everybody comes to a point in there life when they want to quit, but it's what you do at that moment that determines who you are. See i don't want to hear from people that tell me success is easy, i want to hear from the people who fought it out, who went all twelve rounds with life and got to the other side.
