1981 Niitka 24

Sucker for a looptail and a gusset!

I never heard of these before. Picked it up here on the Museum, thought it looked cool. Don't know too much about these other than it was a Japanese company but Taiwan made bike. Low end bike shop bike, not too many around. Due to a skate park mishap these are the only pics I have. It was a great cruiser but not made for the park. Side note thought it was interesting that the headset is 1" but the seat post 1 1/8"?

You tried riding her in a skatepark?  Awesome!

It's an internet chat board.  Relax.

So what happened out there? Did it break?

I can't believe the way people mistreat bikes. It also amazes me how many people don't have any bikes and never ride them - poor miserable souls.

Yes Charm city skate park opened about a year ago here. I rode this.bike down to the opening and decided hey I'm going to carve it up a little? Though everyone was stoked I was riding a vintage cruiser in the park I destroyed the forks and cracked the frame. It did crack at a weld so may be able to save the frame but too many other projects.
