1976 Yamaha Moto-Bike

Restored 1976 Yamaha Moto-Bike

This is the first of several Moto-Bikes that I've restored. It belongs to my cousin.  The bike is complete and the major components are original and in good condition.

More information about the restoration can be found here.

The serial number is on the bottom of the bottom bracket shell on the 1974 & 1975 models.  On the 1976 model it's on the fork neck (like a motorcycle). The serial number begins with "J60" (Yamaha's model designation) and is followed by six digits.

The values of these bikes are all over the place. I've purchased rough ones for $200.00 via Craigslist. A decent, largely complete one is probably worth $300-$400. Restored they might bring twice that.

Re: 1976 Yamaha Moto-Bike

Awesome bike! Any extra yamaha parts available? I'm starting to re do my late brothers moto bike. Know of any good parts sources? I need a c model seat and brackets, 1 crank bearing, one lower strem bearing race to start with.
