1982 Schwinn Sidewinder

1982 Schwinn Sidewinder- Old School 26" BMX Cruiser

I literally had to race against my other Schwinn BMX bretheren to get this one. It was for sale by the original owner on CL, who claimed it was always stored indoors out of the sun. Well, he was more than right. The bike is in excellent original condition save for the seat and a Huret mileage counter. The Balloon Studded tire tread was in excellent condition, until I eyeballed the sidewall- UGH! This purchase was so ironic, as I just sold my King Sting frame, and was in the market for a complete 26" BMX- I was eyeballing the Volume Sledgehammer or SE OM Flyer.
