1982 Vector Mark 2

Granted, I need to get my bikes in some sun light and get a sharper camera, but until then...

The F/F and bars were a so-called barn find.  This is a first generation VDC made frame (notice how the seat stays are welded to the top tube), although I decided to use 2nd gen decals.
I only lightly restored the chrome with some wet tinfoil and added a new set of decals.  My preference from now on is to find original bikes and keep them as original as possible; I love the patina etc.

Wow that Vector is freakin sick! These bikes are official old school. Every part on that bike is top notch, love the bars with the Unitrons! Awesome build. That pink T.S in the back is sexy too! coolcool

Thanks brother!  Always gratifying to get this kind of feedback when you've finished (almost--still need to finish brake) a labor of love.  Thanks too for noticing the components--I was very selective; some sort of fell in my lap, others were really tough to find.
This and that TS are a toss up for me.  The TS is completely restored and fresh whereas the Vector is rough around the edges and still has mostly unrestored parts with that sweet patina.
Appreciate the feedback!!!

Yes sir…that's how my chromed out Pro Racer will be (I know, chrome Hutches are a bit trite but that first time I ever saw a Pro Star as a kid became a pretty indelible image, with the chrome pads and all).  Stay tuned!

Thank you, and thanks for looking!  At first I wasn't sure about that bone color of the Buffs but I do like the way it turned out as well, they're understated as opposed to something bright white…and the Bullseyes don't hurt!

Those Buffs really suit the look of the bike so props for keeping them real! Now get outside and give us some decent pics to look at! tongue
