Thats funny..and a good question! Im 5'10". I actually use my seat to sit on. Im not a racer and never have been. Back in the day for me a bmx bike was transportation to the arcade and maybe a little dirt jumping at the end of the street. And now it's for cruising the boardwalk at Mission Beach here in San Diego. Im always scratching my head wandering why kids have there seats so low!! Looks ridiculous to me. They might as well take the seat and post off and just save the weight ![]()

You have quite a collection for an enthusiast - congratulations.
I made myself the same question - that seat tube looks like 5 feet long! ![]()
Avatar is from 1991 - the bike is an 89 GT Speed Series.

NO WAY!!!! What's up Mauro!! What a trip!! Just chilling here in San Diego, beautiful weather here and having fun. I love the Cruisers!! After yours I picked up another one here locally. The new one I got has Shimano DX hubs and wow!! What a difference cassette hubs make. I want to put new Profile cassette hubs on yours. Some new school stuff on a mid school bike.
Hey whats a Porterhouse?

HEY Jeff!!! I havn't been on bmxmuseum in a while so sorry for not gettin back to ya! I'f you have not found out what a porterhouse steak is it's a new york steak and fillet mignon still attatched to the bone. The end cuts are usually called t-bone steaks and have a small or no fillet mignon. Let me know if you got any 80's 20in stuff you wanna get rid of. I'm looking for some cycle pro snake belly's. Take care, Mauro.
