I worked at JC Penney when we sold these. It was 1975 and 1976. They are very heavy and rode nicely. I still have parts on mine from one. Check this out.

I have two Sliver Fox Bikes (1) from 1976 and (2) from 1978 they came from So.Calif. and i may sell them but for now they are sitting in my old Truck:cool:
