1983 Diamondback Harry Leary Turbo

My Holy Grail

Here we have a 1983 Harry Leary Turbo in Survivor condition, I have just received a set of HLT cranks which I will be putting on in due course. I have always wanted one of these and now I have it, will be building it up very soon but finding nos parts for a HLT is near enough impossible, so if anybody has any please drop us an e-mail.

Suprised that you haven't got one in your awesome collection. Taken me 25years to get hold of one, now just need the parts to build it up

Do you have the turbo dust caps for the cranks? I have 1. The cranks and the neck show up on ebay, the seat and seatpost is another story....

Awesome.  That is my grail as well.  However I am not willing to sell every other bike I own to build one:o

Re: 1983 Diamondback Harry Leary Turbo

that is definitely the holy grail of DB's, can't wait to see the progress on this bike.  If you need new decals they have a set on retrospect. The turbo cranks find is just as amazing! Good luck and thanks for help

Re: 1983 Diamondback Harry Leary Turbo

Man, this is such a sweet set-up.

A good friend of mine BITD had one of these decked out with VERY chrome parts. It was blow-away cool and drew stares whenever he cruised by.

I am looking forward to seeing this complete. WOW! Lucky man.
