1989 Rally Flash

i guess this is the right section for a rallye.

i know this is some kind of x-mart brand bike but i love chrome so i had no choice but to buy it. It was bought as a schwinn, but i thought the headbadge looked funny so i got to scratchin and ended up with a rallye instead. for an x-mart bike its pretty solid and ill have to say it has a nice chrome job because i just started steel wooling it on the worst of the rust spots and it cleared to a nice chromey shine. arent chrome bikes the best. EDIT HJC alloy 20x 1.50 rims with blue hubs.I added some blue kendra kontact 20x 1.75 tires with blue dice trik topz valve stem caps. Blue apse 2000 hand break lever and clamps. Blue odyssey slic kable with blue wire caps. White AME pro tri grips on those funky lee chi handle bars. 44 toothe lun chi chainring.1987 white dynamax seat with chrome rails and hardwear.

Re: 1989 Rally Flash

Sweet bike, I had a '88 Rallye when I was a kid and have been looking to replace it. I beat the hell out of that bike and it would not break, isn't it funny when I was a kid all I wanted was a GT Performer, now if I had to choose I would take my off brand Rallye. My dad bought the bike at PepBoys back in the day. No Idea who made the bike but it was a good solid bike.

Re: 1989 Rally Flash

This is one nice ride. I discovered it while gazing at your giant. I have a chrome 89 gotcha in resto mode. When i finish I will place pic in museum. It is not quite as nice as yours but close.

Re: 1989 Rally Flash

Hello. I just posted a Flash, but it's still pending approval. The actual Bike is a Rallye Falsh. You will see it soon under Rallye once the bike is accepted. Like you I fell in love with this bike, and even though not the highest quality bike a real beauty.
