Is Racer X a Racer X or a Mongoose?

It was made by the same people who made mongoose (BMX Products Inc.)
They also made:
Jag
Blue Max
Kos Kruiser
Two-Four
Moto-Trac
and many others.

Re: 1977 Racers X
Ok a Racer X looks to be a Mongoose model. Just like the Team Mongoose, Super Goose, Kos Kruiser, Mity Goose ,Motomag etc.
In the 1978 Mongoose catalog it shows a Racer X.
But unlike Jag it appears to be part of Mongoose. Jag was a separate company, separate team etc.
At least I dont believe Jag was run by BMX Products. Just made by them. Anyone?
