1984 Mongoose Supergoose

"A Mongoose is for life not just for Christmas"

This is my Mongoose Supergoose that I got for Christmas approx 1984. The bike lay dormant for a good few years before I found it on my R and R and decided to get it back to its original glory. Over the years and a couple of moves I have lost the front brake and stem cover, bugger. I trashed the original grips in only a matter of days, however, their replacements, Mushroom 2's, are still good to go. The original seat I still have but is very worse for wear from too many bad landings and has been replaced by an Aero. The serial number is M4J19021. I'm really excited about having it now as I was all those years ago when I was a kid, I'm now 34! Back then I always wanted Redline cranks and Hutch bear traps, however, being a country bumpkin from Scotland the glossy pictures from a very expensive imported BMX Plus was just a dream. Twenty-three years later, after advice from museum members and a couple of purchases from Ebay, I now have my dream bike!

Re: 1984 Mongoose Supergoose

really sweet goose. just wondering, are those Galindo gx bars? I had a pair on my pro class bitd.
it seems like a lot of parts were common on a lot of the goose's back then. keep it real and ride 'em like you stole them.

I do a decal set for that bike if you are interested. Would be good to replace the faded and scraped decals. Just check out the for sale section, thanks.

Nice bike by the way i have one just the same, check out my bikes smile
