I hear you there.  I've been riding my new school WTP all summer.  I'm finally getting the hang of it and like it a lot more now.  I'm also discovering the newer style tricks are more fun than I thought.  Before this year, I never did a rail grind.  Never had the desire to.   But that's some fun stuff!  I also started riding pools and parks.  I was missing out on a lot of fun.  Hope you have a similar experience getting used to yours.  Kind of strange to let a bike shape the way you ride.  But it worked out well for me.
