Re: 1975 Redline Squareback 16
One of the hardest things to find is 16" coaster brake rims. I actually have a set of sew-ups that came with it, but I cannot find any tires to use. It is ashame too, they were really trick for the day, quick release campy hub on the front and everything.
I have a set of Redline V bars, but no neck yet.

This is a killer bike! I might have a lead on some old 16" all black scwinn scrambler looking tires. Don't know condition, I know they are nos but that means nothing. I would guess that they are very close to era correct, mid to late 70's. I will do some more searching! I can also get 16" araya 7x's and ukai's in silver, but they aren't era correct and are $100 a pair(hoops only).

Re: 1975 Redline Squareback 16
I have my first BMX bike and it is the 16inch redline made in 75. My dad purchased it one day when my brother Donovan and I were out of state touring the nationals.
my daughter, who's 8, learned how to ride on this bike. It won me at least 2 nationals over the 8 years of racing.
ive heard as well that only 150 were made, the only alterations is a replacement rim, my teenaged brother jumped it and flatened the alloy... and the seat isnt original. other than that I believe its all authentic.
thanks,

In '79 I was 8yrs old when I started to race bmx. I loved my pk , but I always wanted a square back. Never got one, still want one. I hope you post an end result when you finish. Awesome job bro.....
