The Proline Parade (The Official Proline thread)

All prolines may be redlines, but not all redlines are prolines!
Welcome to the Official Proline thread. Pictures of Prolines here!

If you happen to be a lucky owner of a Proline, post pictures of the beautiful speed demon here.

Here is one of mine -

1984 Redline Proline PL20 Carrera II -

Still need to shiny side the speedlines. Back in the day, I ordered this from the
bike shop with bullseyes and chrome ukais. Piecing together the correct wheelset
has took a good bit of time. I just got it together this weekend and rode it today.

Redlines 'product line' has expanded to seats tires, hubs, etc.
Almost the every part is stamped or marked redline somewhere.

Cool bikes.

I like to take the edge off at the end of the day with  a couple bottles of wine, a few shots of tequila and fistful muscle relaxers.

I ended up trading this survivor away, which was a big mistake.

Another one of my prolines.

1994 PL24 AL (aluminum)

This is a pretty rare bird. These came as frames only
and were made by control tech for redline.
you dont see many around. Built mine with mostly DX
components. Also note the Brand-X forks.

This one gets ridden quite a bit. its crazy light so its easy
to load and very smooth and fast. the pro flight bars let
you ride this upright and the seat is pretty comfy.

My old workhorse that I've had for 35 years now with recently acquired stablemates. (The MX-24 is being redone in white with chrome bars and red components replacing much of the black stuff. It'll be more proper that way.) wink
