1982 Huffy Pro Lightning

All original survivor.

Not sure on the '82 year but sometime in the 80's. Found all original with reflectors and chainguard, all removed. Bike has original v-bars with double clamp stem, rat trap pedals, original pads and viscount seat, wheels with coaster brake and rear caliper brake. Tubing on this is oval on downtube as well as seat tube. Cool old school survivor.

Re: 1982 Huffy Pro Lightning

I had that exact same bike except mine was chrome and had a 13 tooth freewheel... really high gear ratio.  I bought mine in 83 from Gold Circle department store.  Let me know if you're interested in selling it.  I was jumped and the bike was stolen in October 85 after I upgraded to white tuffs, redline forklifter stem, dia-compe MX901 brake.  I remember her so well.  LOL.

Looking for:
NOS white freestyle tires, preferably something rare.
NOS white Elina Flyte Tech
Chrome GT framestanders
85-86 Redline rear framestanders
Turquoise brake pads

Re: 1982 Huffy Pro Lightning

I got one of these frames.  So the seatpost is oval?  Where can I get a post for this? thanks

Re: 1982 Huffy Pro Lightning

Wow, I had one of these, mine was black and came with gold Araya rims. However, no Huffy Racing sticker. The downtube sticker said "Pro Lightning" and it came with a Zeronine number plate with a "1" and lightning bolts on it.

My "Rich" neighbor kid had one back about "82 and it had the narrow gold rims and a number plate. It was so light.. It also said PRO LIGHTNING on the downtube. Sweet ride.

Re: 1982 Huffy Pro Lightning

Judging from this advertisement in late 1983 (November) I would say that is the 1983 model.
