1984 Norco Spitfire Turbo

Rare Norco BMX SURVIVOR ***SOLD***

Just found this rare BMX, don't see these very often, this one is all original right down to the brake pads. I had a 1985 Spitfire Turbo back in the day, it was very similar to this one except it had all black components, Dia-Compe MX-1000 brakes (unlike these knock offs), a DK stem...otherwise very similar. This has Araya 7X rims, Suzue hubs, Tuf-Neck style stem, possibly a Dia-Compe hinged seatpost clamp (could be a fake), Uni-style seat, original Norco tires.

Just sold this to my brother, he wanted the wheels and the seatpost clamp for his '82 GT, told him he had to take the whole thing.....hopefully we'll see his GT soon.

Nice score.  It's in great shape too.  I like the rarer bikes.  Bikes like this are the reason I come to the museum.  Great bike!
