Re: 1980 Mongoose Supergoose
finding a 1980 Supergoose (best year for supergoose by the way) is a phenomenal find, not to mention the blue metal flange tuffs that are not the least bit sun faded..

sweet ride blue & chome aiways looks good.
found it a landfill, found next to a dumpster ,find it in the bushes, wil I ever be so lucky, maybe we can get a thread started, the strangest place you find your ride or how you came across your most prized bike.

Re: 1980 Mongoose Supergoose
man trust me i thought scoring oldschool bmx was easy as this was the first bike i picked up,then the reality set in.i was with a mate of mine that i used to hang with bitd when i saw the bike and i go to him farout that looks like an old bmx with tuffs and he was pretty hardcore bitd and immediatley said to me dude that's an old supergoose, (he knew his stuff 'cause we were at least 20meters away) and he goes to me "grab it brother" that will look sick in your bar at home and that was the start of my bmx collecting,i was more into my skate stuff in my bar as i was pretty core into skating bitd,i like the idea of a thread, check out my post in name it forum titled "cananybody help me identify this frame" i found this on a pile of rubbish on the side of the road destined for landfill and nearly lost control of my car when i screamed at my wife and child "hang on guys daddys gonna slam the brakes on" and swerved of the road and squeezed it into the car,gee my poor son is getting sick of sharing his child seat with rusty old bikes.

Where would we be without landfill. I've picked up two gems from our local tip and now there's no turning back. I hear what you're sayin' brother!
