Are Akisu's made in Taiwan or Japan?? Any idea as we seem to have them in abundance here.

abundance? i have only seen 1 on ebay ! not sure Taiwan or Japan , i check the frame .

Hey bro, Initially i thought it was from Japan but I came across a BMX Action mag (issues 1985 if im not wrong) in one of the articles and it stated made in Taiwan.

i have a bike on ebay and they told me it is an akisu. and it says made in japan. the auction is over at noon. just wanted to let you know.

i have 3 akisu forks
i was told they were made in japan
but not all that sure

Akisu is made in taiwan and is pretty much junk but is often confused with araya which is of high quality japanese make

i've got a set of akisu forks. they look good to me. also they are made from butted tubing. i know alot of new bike companies brag about the butted tubing.
