2000 Haro Mirra Pro

Finally found one of these beauties.Got this from a guy who closed down his bike shop and had this in storage.Only has a few small knicks out of the paint. All original parts.Love this color red and with the white wall tires and the chrome forks makes this one fine looking and riding bike.So glad I got it,going to enjoy riding it for years.

Re: 2000 Haro Mirra Pro

Great find! Heavy, but BOMBPROOF. I love those screw in axles and those wheels. The magnesium pedals also help to shed some weight. Some guys seem to be down on Haro's but they've always been great to me. Enjoy sir!

Re: 2000 Haro Mirra Pro

Thanks today was the first full day of riding it and it rides awesome.I like the bike being  heavy, feels very solid when your riding it.Feels like the bike could take on lots of stuff.Dont think I'll be hitting to many jumps with it since its basically brand new NOS,to nice to scratch up and dent.Feels funny when I got back on my GT after riding it,might have to get some new knee saver handelbars for it.Also like the screw in axles different look than most bikes, like the square hole for the 3/8 ratchet to fit into.Bike came with pegs but no need for em.

I got used the weight of my blammo. And I was jumping that thing daily and goin' big. It's more predictable.

Re: 2000 Haro Mirra Pro

Kind of thoght it was around 2000,guy I got it from said it was an 02 or 03.Does anybody have a clicking sound coming from their cranks or pedals, when I'm pedaling while standing up I'm getting a clicking/squeeking sound either from the pedals or the crank arms only when theres weight on them not when I'm sitting and pedaling.Dont seem to be a problem just an annoying sound. If anybody has this problem with these components or knows what it might be,that would be cool. Thanks

Re: 2000 Haro Mirra Pro

Mine's don't have that sound..
In case the sound comes from the cranks:
Check all the bolts on the cranks since they are pinched...see if they are tight enough(if not, you know what you should do)
But if you wanna be sure, take all the bolts out of their threads, use new grease....tighten the side bolts first and then the bolts on the crank arms!! (using grease on the spindle would be nice too)

In case the sound comes from the pedals:
Check if there's a "play" on the pedals, then your pedals are loose......this will end up to break the bearings inside your pedals.
If they are loose, tighten the bolts on the outside of your pedals (under the dust cup) and use some grease....this will make it stop for sure.

Re: 2000 Haro Mirra Pro

f#@k!

I had this exact same bike. I barely rode it cause I loved it so much. It was beautiful, then some m&t3r f#@ker stole it off of my patio, with a pair of bolt cutters, like a month  ago.

Youre a lucky man, that bike is the sh!t.

It's a 2000 model and it sold originally for $650.00
It is also the bike that appeared on the cover of the Playstation/Dreamcast game "Dave Mirra BMX"

I have the Pegs for that bike if you want them.

Re: 2000 Haro Mirra Pro

I have one as well, its in "My Bikes" its sweet.
The 2000 came in Pearl White and Ruby Red. I don't care for either color personally.
The stock pegs weigh a ton, if you don't grind, consider removing them.

Re: 2000 Haro Mirra Pro

Yeah ride it, love it and clean it, This one is a keeper. I broke stub axles, the 3 piece arms and twisted spindle, flexed the rims till spokes bent and ended up cracking the frame, but i would buy another in a heartbeat and throw it on a wall. Best riding memories ever. Your 1 Lucky Cat!
