1985 Haro Master
1985 Haro Master
The '85 Master was always my favourite freestyle bike.
Rechromed 85 Master f+f. I always wanted to add a nice chrome 85 Master to my collection but I couldn't find a nice original chrome f+f so I had to have one rechromed. A lot of Masters were sold as frame sets so I didn't get too hung up, trying to use all original factory parts. I like the look of black on chrome so that's what I went for on this build. The bike was built using these components... Black alloy hubbed Tuffs with Panaracer Freestyle tyres. Chrome freestyler bars with Black Redline Forklifter stem and black Ame's. Black Dominator seat, Dia Compe seat clamp, Dia Compe FS880's. Dual pinch Flights and Shimano SX pedals. I've got some Sugino CT cranks and DX pedals which are going to be powdered black and I'll be installing them on this bike when they're ready. I need a Haro seatpost decal and the handlebar decals to complete this build...

Yeah, I used Armor-All on them. It takes away that horrible white release powder and I'm hoping it will prolong the lifespan of the tyres. Nothing worse than cracked/rotten tyres.
Dom, I thought you would like the Haro -- the pink Hutch Trickstar and the Torker 2 will be my last builds (never say never) so I'm not in a huge rush to complete them...
I really wanted to use foil decals but Chip didn't have any so I used some of AJK's. The quality is good but the green is a bit light, if I'm honest. I still need the handlebar decals and a seat post decal so I think I'll have to contact the main man, anyway.
I've got some DX's which are getting powdered, black, soon and they'll be going on this bike. Not standard haro pedals but I love DX's....

Seriously nice master
