1975 Kent KMX 750

Super rare and Super AWESOME!!!

Just found this totally original Kent KMX 750.
Unbelievable to find one of these in this condition with the fenders, reflectors and chainguard intact
The photos speak for themselves!
This thing weighs well over 40 pounds too...
I think it is a 1975 model but not positive

WOW - this is insane, especially in this condition. Think about how few they probably made, and how few survived the land fill, and how few of those are still original. Very cool bike!!

Re: 1975 Kent KMX 750

Thanks Bike Muff. When I saw this thing I knew I absolutely had to have it...There is one crack on the rear fender, and I think there may have been a number plate on the front of it, but holy cow this thing is awesome...Scored a beautiful 77 Huffy Mono Shock with it... What a great day today!

Re: 1975 Kent KMX 750

My first post about my first bike.

Yes, it did have a front plate. It used to attach between the shocks with metal clips. I know this because I was constantly going back to pick it up after jumps.

I got mine second hand from an older cousin. The thing was near indestructable! I would blast down steps, launch off of things that were way too high for my skill levels at the age of 10. It weighed a ton but it was my path to freedom every summer morning. I am in the SE PA region and I'd be real curious if you still have it.

For some reason, the tank looks smaller that what I had on mine but other than that... it's exactly the same.

Re: 1975 Kent KMX 750

I got this bike for birthday in 76 or 77. Came from Toys R Us, Very heavy for sure. Even better news I still have the bike in my garage. The bike is close to the condition Lugi has shown in his pics. Same bike in Red with # 87. Mine is missing the front & rear and wheel reflectors and kick stand. But everything else is still there & Yes I have the front # 87 plate that was held on with clip at the front shocks. Will try posting some pics. The original rear tire rubber is not there either, but HD rims are there intact & shiny like new. Feel free to email about bike as my son has out grown & not interested in it at all. Anyone know if these bikes are rare or uncommon. I have not seen any in good condition execpt here or old pics when there were 1st bought
