1999 Yess Silver Bullet

1999 YESS Silver Bullet

I was very happy to score this matching frame and fork set a little while ago.
As far as I know, its a 1999 model. There's not not too many of these Yess's on the museum at all, especially ones that are a matching f&f set.
Anyways, I pondered for a while how to build it, then I made a decision, and here it is finally completed.
Its quite a light bike, and seems to do everything right from first impressions. The steering, particularly, is nice & fast!
Some of the parts I used to round it out are: Bombshell wheels (from cbr900rr - thanks buddy!), Truvativ cranks, FMF stem & seat clamp, Maxxis tires, Shimano brakes, Sun Ringle pedals. The Race Face chainwheel I chose not only 'cause it looks cool, and matches the style, but also keeps it in with the theme of Canadian parts.

Thanks very much, getwheels, for all the nice comments:)
I did really like the way this Yess looked when I got it all together, I have to admit myself!
Orange is one of those colors I guess, that many people either love or hate.
I like your efforts at re-coloring your own bike parts too - not only does it give a unigue finish, but its also something then that no one else will have!

Cheers, TaylorRides - much appreciated!
My only response is that Yess bikes don't have a very big following.
As far as I know, these Silver Bullet frames are virtually identical to Crupi frames of the same era.
If anyone knows, please jump in with any info here, to add, or correct me.
