1980 Redline Proline Microline

**Traded**1980(possibly '78 or '79) Redline Proline Microline
Serial # 345337 stamped on head tube between top tube and down tube---no Redline oval

Frame: Redline Proline CrMo frame (perfect dropouts, no scratches, good stickers--faded) Fork: TRX CrMo Hubs: Shimano VIA EA (front) Shimano DH (rear)---both red Rims: UKAI 20x 1 3/8 red cranks: Takagi Forged Ultra Dyno (Japan) Pedals: MKS 4-diamond pattern (Japan) Brakes: unknown U-brake, ACS lever , Grips: Black Mushroom, Stem: 6-bolt torker-red (rusted bolts and corroded wedge is stuck in frame) Bars: Torker-red, Seatpost--red anodized fluted (corroded to inside of frame)

the stem wedge and the seatpost have been soaking in 3in1 penetrating oil for a few days now.

i don't know the exact year but i'd suggest around 1979/80. i do know it's not a proline as they had the 5" head tube.

threaded BB...is that European? Im no expert.

Also, Im not seeing CHROME Microlines in 1980....anyone know when they made crome frames? Im thinking sometime between 77-79.

Any Redline gurus out there?
