1975 Crossrider MX-III Monoshock
1975 Crossrider MX-III Monoshock
Sportsworld
A Classic Aussie monoshock!!
When my dad's bike was stolen (Early 80s) the insurance company offered him another bike, and this is what he picked up. The bike was my fathers main means of transport, until he began to drive. The bike was neglected and left outside, behind a garage! The original pedals, grips, rims, tires, hubs and frame pads were all lost In the late 90s, my father decided to restore the bike, in which he chrome the entire thing, which i received on my 7th birthday. Some years later, i am now 17, I discovered a picture identical to that of my bike! I was inspired and i decided to restore the ol' girl. I have traced many NOS parts (Grips, pedals, hubs, rubber) and i traced down some motocross rims that i sourced from a simlilar bike. Im going to possibly get it powder coated, if so ill get it Matt Black with the usual chrome stuff, with bits of yellow and gold here and there....
