Damn that is a PURDY bike!!!!  Love the choice of colors and part selection......other than the dual pinch pinch bolt flights (it would be the bees knees with a set of 401's or Profiles!! hint hint!!)..... thats a bike i would love to call my own!!!!

Whats the serial number? Looks like a 85 F/S Quad to me. 84 rear platform looks like this

It's defo an '84 frameset ... I've now got a NOS '84 Quad FS with identical platforms (serial # 03 84 1613)

interesting.both my 84`s  have the larger rear mounts. I have a 85 f/s Quad like your NOS one,it has the flat brake bridge,but has a 10 85 build date,my other 85 f/s has a round brake bridge,also a 10 85 build date. I guess SE was using up whatever parts they had back then
