1982 Mongoose Supergoose
1982 Mongoose Supergoose
1982 Supergoose by Mongoose.
This is a copy of the Supergoose that I had when i was a kid. My bike was a 1980 and this is a 1982. I could not find a nice 1980. The bike has NOS Araya 7X rims w/Shimano DX hubs, NOS Dia Compe MX900 brakes, NOS Blue Tuf-Neck, NOS Bullseye sealed bottom bracket w/ NOS Sugino GT cranks, NOS Kashimax seat, NOS California lite pad set, and NOS KKT Lightning pedals. I couldn't have built this bike without the help from lots of people that belong to this great web site. Thank you BMXmuseum.com.

Without a doubt my favorite color combination of all time. With all that NOS stuff the bike looks like you just brought it home. And it is a remake of a bike you used to own. Awesome. I bet most of us, our dream is to rebuild our favorite bikes from BITD as well as those we wanted but never owned. Congrats on the bike and finishing your dream.

Thank you for all of the great compliments. I am working on a couple other projects and I will post the pictures when they are finished. A candy blue Team Mongoose and a candy red Team Mongoose. I would love to race these again but I have no time!

That is the bike that got me through the mid 80s,this is one of the strongest bikes ever made.You built a nice time machine I love it.
I don't remember it hurting this much,can someone pick up my teeth please.
