1984 Skyway T/A

American Patriot TA, Skys The Limit

here is my true GEM,the first bike i've build. everything is new old stock except chainring and 2nd Generation profile cranks but has been professionaly rechromed so its pretty much new. i removed the head tube decale and replaced it with an antique skyway emblem but i have another original headtube decale if i decide to change it. what skyway did to me, it can also do to you after a pretty penny on ebay.

Stunning. I salute your effort.
I can totally picture the rich kid that would have owned that BITD.
The only thing that bugs me is the hubs. They match the bike perfectly. But I dont remember red white and blue hubs back then. Just solid colored Bullseyes and maybe some with gold centers or silver centers seem to ring a bell. But if they made those back then then, the bike is perfect.

Re: 1984 Skyway T/A

not sure when bullseye made them  but they certainly did  with a few variations of them red/white/blue  if you ever see the guy on ebay selling bullseye hubs   screen name BULLSEYECYCLE CO thats steve from bullseye  great guy  ask him he'll tell you exactly when they came out ....dudes awsome recently hooked me up with a sick all black set of bullseyes

OH AND THAT SKYWAY IS FLAT OUT AWSOME  ALL AMERICAN BAR NONE

I been farting around with a chrome hutch with red white blue parts but it dont hold a candle to this    but you should check my custom made red white blue chain smile
