Sick gusset!

Here's my 415, fitted with a rough set of Supra E's and some anchor DNA cranks. Will get a proper birthday when all the other projects are out of the way.

Do it David! They'd look well at home on your beast. I've gone back to the MX22s for now as my mate was desperately seeking a set for his Miron Hydramatic, so hooked him up.

Re: 1999 Specialized Fatboy 415 Pro

Ive recently acquired (for free) one of these that has sat out in the rain behind a shed for the last decade. The componentry is pretty much a write-off and will need to be replaced but the frame appears to be in fairly good condition other than some surface rust corrosion.
The original seat is actually also in reasonable condition (other than fading).

I don't know enough about BMXs to know if it's actualy worth repairing and sticking some new components on?

I used to ride a little bit of street and flatland when I was a kid, but that was quite a long time ago now.

If I was going to repair it, I'd probably be minded to get the flame shotblasted and re-sprayed - anyone got any idea of costs for this or whether it's advisable/worth it on this frame?

Again...just trying to get a feel for whether this is worth reincarnating or just throwing away to make space in the garage. I'd probably be more minded to do it up and sell it or give it to my friends kids than use it myself.
