Re: 1979 Mongoose Motomag

I just saw this bike on e-bay, and I have to say this is a spot-on build.

Very well done!

Hayward, did you read that reply I posted on one of your earlier posts? I don`t remember now which one it was. If so, drop me an e-mail please. Thanks.

In case you`re wondering 'what the..' It was the `78 `goose you posted and I replied on 2-14-06.

Re: 1979 Mongoose Motomag

I had a bike simila to that when I WAS 11.

except i bought a yellow seat and yellow pads and yellow grips.

I used it as my work vehicle delivering "The Detroit News" until I was 15, when I switched to cars.

Gave it to a kid down the street when I got my learners permit (drivers liscense).  Now I have a 8 year old son and wish I still had it.  Know where I could buy one-  that bike was so well built.  I think my son has had 6 bikes in 3 years.

I want to buy one for him now... Any ideas??
