2000 Schwinn Blue Falcon Brian Foster
This is a monster!
Gotta thank Gene for the stem, cap (wicked combo), rims & inspiration, John for grips & hubs, Jeff for the clamp, Patrick for the sprocket, elusive fork stickers (what a finishing touch) and endless inspiration (he has awesome looking bikes!!!), Dennis for the frame, Gary @ BMX Museum for the NOS forks... ebay for taking all of my money... oh and Rick @ Ricks bike shop for building my wheels.

Re: 2000 Schwinn Blue Falcon Brian Foster
Bad A$$! Can I Fave this twice?!
This is probably the finest Mid-School Schwinn in the Museum. Great components, you kept it "all in the family" with XS and Schwinn parts. This bike would have been well over a grand in 2000. Awesome awesome awesome. Just pop the reflectors off the pedals and it can't get any better! You did a great job, congratulations!
Love the all chrome six shooter hubs, stem and seat clamp! You don't see many of these in chrome any more.
Wow again.

Yup the reflectors came off. Thanks for the nice compliments. I am very satisfied with this build. This is my favorite bike so far in my Schwinn line up.

Slick Schwinn!
I just picked a red one up from craigslist but it has some cheap handlebars, neck, pedals, and 1-piece cranks. Do you have some recommendations on what to put on in replacement of what I have? I'd like to get the new-style sealed bottom bracket cranks like on the Specialized Hemi I have but don't know what is good for a reasonble price.
Thx

Why Does It Say The Blue Falcon That Is Not Called The Blue Falcon. Only One Thing Is Called The Blue Falcon The Super Hero From Dyno Mutt. That Is Not His Nickname Or The Bike's Name. So The Name Has To Be Removed. Who do i contact on this site? Also where can i order a bike like this?

Re: 2000 Schwinn Blue Falcon Brian Foster
Good god this turned out awesome. Exactly what I had in mind for my frame.. till I needed the cash and sold all the parts(your grips, etc.)
This almost inspires me to build mine up! Almost! We'll see. I still have the frame, fork, bars, and cranks. I'd need some six shooter hubs and stem again.. and grips
That's too cool finally seeing those hubs laced up!

Re: 2000 Schwinn Blue Falcon Brian Foster
I was wondering if you had any issues with the seat clamp.
I have two different size XS seat clamps. One size that fits my pro stock, and another size that fits my super stock 1.
It seems neither is a tight enough fit for my Blue Falcon.
Does the blue falcon take a different, specific size seat post clamp?
How many XS seat clamp sizes were made?!? Do I just not have the right one?
Perhaps I can shim the one I have?

Simply stunning. This was my dream bike when I was 13 or so. And it still is in a way. Bicycle City in Jackson TN has one hanging from the ceiling that isn't and never will be for sale. Believe I've tried lol. I've seen some blue Stingray pads that match that seat on eBay recently. That's all you need to complete it. Amazing...
WTB: Mid-school red metal flake SDG frame pads. 1998 Speed Series Team frame decals. PM me if you know where to find or have any of these items.

Re: 2000 Schwinn Blue Falcon Brian Foster
Beautiful build! Wow....
I have a steel XS frame a bought off CL a while back, looks just like this but I know they made a few versions similar. On my bottom bracket it is also stamped "XS-23", any idea what that is? Any info would be appreciated. I was going to strip the spray bomb maroon paint and use my Troy Lee Schwinn decals for an army themed build, but if its a Blue Falcon I won't do that!
I love everything mid school... That's how I roll
Into Schwinn XS currently, if you have parts or need something PM me
