81 HUTCH "SPECIAL K" REPLICA JR.
This is a pretty rare Hutch "Special K" that I picked up from a guy who was moving out of state and didn't want to take it with him. The bike was in pretty bad shape when I picked it up but cleaned up pretty well. Still needs a black Uni, a new set of frame and fork decals and a set of outside cages for the lightning pedals but over all it's in great condition considering I haven't seen another one in the past twenty years or so. I had to have the head tube sticker reproduced since I was unable to find any for sale and it turned out sweet.

More info on the Special "K" What makes it a special k?
It looks an awful lot like a Holeshot. How about close up pics ? It looks like you are standing on the roof of your house taking pics...lol

This bike is almost exactly the same as the "Lil' Hole Shot" mini from 81 with the the exception of being an inch and a half longer and slightly taller. They called it a Jr. rather than a mini. The "Special K" is the only Jr. they made in 81. The mini was 34.5 inches long and this one is 36. I will try to get some better pictures as soon as I'm able to get down from my roof.

special K was also a nick name of one of the younger Hutch racers of that time
