1996 Torker Vagabond

Started life as your typical neglected Torker complete with flaky chrome and plenty of rust and possibly the worst seat post seize in the history of BMX.
Frame sandblasted and painted in some pretty expensive "Electric Plum" 2K paint which flips from blue to purple to a copper colour. Repro decals, running Sun Rhyno 48s with sealed hubs, Profile cranks, Imperial 45T, Snafu pedals, Kneesaver IIs, Aaron Ross tyres, original brakes with Dirt Harry levers, oversized pegs. Few more things to dial before complete and will update pics when done.
As promised, updated. Modified Gen1 Gyro cables and Hoffman upper gyro plate nothing much else to note, new pics though!

What a bike smile !!
I just discover this TORKER model : whaoo, I like this frame's geometry : just one curb from "stem" to rear axle. And you just use "top of the line" parts...
Also like the "Vagabond" in 90's colours, like orange, blue, purple, but yours is surely my fav.
Super nice work !!

Please, Don't forget to feedback when you're satisfied with my sales. I always try to do my best, and it's important for me to know when all is ok.
Just few words is enough. Thanks All.
Peace. Stay Rad !

Cheers mate! They were regarded as pretty low-spec back in the day but I reckon such a cool design deserves an up-specced and customised build. Appreciate the kind words big_smile

Loco, I wanna see your new Vagabond finished and pics of the two of 'em together, side by side.  cool

Oh, and If you find someone who can duplicate that newer Vagabond/Kickback font, please hit me up.  Cash in-hand for someone to replicate OEM 1997 Kickback decals in purple.  smile

Nice...The paint really sets off the sleek profile of the frame.

Where did you get that done, might I ask?

Almost like a candy coated chrome...similar to what Skyway is doing with their frame-sets.

Really nice...

He did it himself.  Check out his thread at OZ:

OMG that paint job is phenomenal. Love it. Curious about the details on that paint job. Wouldn't mind finding one of these and doing one up similarly.
