1986 Haro Sport

My favourite bike I had in 86. Still is today.

Starting on the restore. Complete bike.
This is a clean 86 complete going back to its original state. The parts I'm presently cleaning up. Pretty much all it needs is new paint or powder and decal set. So far cleaned the peregrines, Removed some of the stickers, polished out all the marks on the diacompes and added the following nos parts:
Nos Haro fs 175's.
Nos Haro seatpost.
Nos Diacompe brake cables in white.
Nos ODI "Ron Wilkerson" Signature mushrooms.
Everything else will be the stock parts that came on the bike, minus the gyro I wont be re-installing.
Doesnt look like much now stripped, but it will.

I have the same bike(same color and all.)
Masters have always been my fave...but after finally getting to experience the Sport it's a really close call.
I wouldn't say yours doesn't look like much...quite to the contrary-it's already in great survivor condition.But I know what it's like to want to restore a Haro to it's original greatness.

The legend returns with another super clean looking Haro, love the white tires against the peregrines, the best combo around for me on a sport, beautifull

Nope Still og with nos white tires waiting for the dollar to get better to do powder/paint and decals for it to be mint.....got a feeling its gonna be a long wait.
