Re: 1985 Haro Master

hey rooster, i know this is a little late, but are you sure on the year?  85 was full paint (no chrome underneath) and had fixed fork stands.  86 had chrome (full underneath) dropouts and fork bottoms, with flip up fork stands.  i think the first 2 digits in the s/n should be the year.  it should be on the inside of the right dropout i think.

Re: 1985 Haro Master

Hey

The bike is awesome but the only thing that lets it down are the discolored wheels.  Get a big tub of bleach and sling your wheels in for a few days.  Some spotlessly clean white wheels will be the finishing touch to such a great build...

Re: 1985 Haro Master

i put 2 gallons of bleach to 4 water and soaked them for a week scrubbuing them everyother day but i had super bad brake build up and they were as yellow as a smokers smile depends how bad check them daily. cover the metal parts in greese the bleach will rust, corrode and pit but, they will polish up again.
