1983 Rebel Racing General Lee

Thiis bike is my baby!

I would own every Rebel if i could.... Here is a frankinstien build... When i got this bike it was in bad shap .. It was spraybombed black , no decals left, but the drops were great.. I saw the potential in the black and decided to do something outside the box... After a killer powder job and a nos set of decals... This is what i ended up with. (MURDER). Its my favorite bike in my collection and took 1st place at the 40 years of BMX show in Bellflower CA, judjed by Scott B,  PK, Stu T,  and Bob Haro!!!  I was pretty jazzed to say the least....   this bike sports a set of UBER RARE rebel pro bars l!!! everything nos or damn close..

Re: 1983 Rebel Racing General Lee

This bike is the end-all, be-all of BMX collecting.  So much time and detail went into this build.  If I remember right, he spent nearly 4 hours detailing every nook and cranny of the tires.  What a marvelous bike and as a fellow restorer/builder can honestly say there's only a few bikes out there that would hold a candle to this one...the judges couldn't have picked a better representation of what 40 years in this industry could produce.  Glad I am the first to be able to comment on it. Congrats bro, now I'm coming for that title!
