Todays expensive score
My most expensive purchase ever. Paid $650. Was raced for half a season then hung up. Cost $1800+ to build. Parts, speed frame, answer carbon forks, profile elites laced to envy II rims, profile cranks with spline drive profile chainring, paul brakes.

If it was expensive it's not a score. ![]()

Re: Todays expensive score
You've been on here longer than I have, you should know that nothing newer than 1988 can be considered a score =]
If you find a F/S or trade ad from me, ignore it. If you send me a PM and I don't reply right away, I'm not ignoring you - just busy at the moment.
Do I owe you feedback? Please remind me via PM and I'll take care of it.

600 is the absolute ceiling on any bike like that for me. People drag on and on how much they have into a bike....they should have parted it if they needed to make money back. Those 'all show and no go' track fanboys always cough up their rides after 2 or 3 'races' lol
By the way, that is a purchase. So not a score

A sight for sore eyes to the blind would be awful majestic. It would be the most beautiful thing that they ever had seen. It would cause such surprise, it would make all of their minds electric. How could anyone tell them that some things are not what they seem?

Re: Todays expensive score
Hell yeah, I dig the pics! I bought a similar racer from someone who built it to look cool at the track: Profile hubs, Ti spokes, Saint cranks, Daggers, King headset, crupi pro rounds...all ridden one time..nobody would touch it for his $700 asking price. Only when he called and said take it for $600 did I start thinking about it .![]()

Re: Todays expensive score
Sweet grab. Like u said, those wheels would cost more to build then your purchase price. New school ain't cheap. May not be a score in OS terms, as for price ect... But in NS, that a great deal for all you got.

Re: Todays expensive score
congrats Tim, no matter what others "opinions" are, I know it's a score for you since it's about 1/3 of what it cost and it's basically new and gives you top of the line wheels to add to your new S&M

Are there really people on here debating what a score is? C'mon man!
Old School BMX bike collecting is a hobby and New School Retro BMX bike riding is a hobby. Respect the part of the hobby I enjoy and I'll promise to respect and even compliment the part of the hobby you enjoy. Disrespect what I like and I'll disrespect you...simple enough right?

Re: Todays expensive score
The previous owner did not build it up to look cool at the track. He was a former teamamte that needed a car. And freedo is a much better racer than freestyler. Gee I wonder who got him into racing. Oh yeah that. Would be me.
