Replacing bmx pivotal seat bolt
I recently bought a new Ti bolt to replace the chromoly one that came with my Kink pivotal seat. After unscrewing the bolt from the post and completely removing the seat I realized that even though the bolt turns inside the seat it wont push straight up and come out. I tried unscrewing it out of seat. Using needle nose pliers to pull out and still it won't push out.
Was wondering if any of you guys ever experienced this befor and would you know how to get the bolt out?

Re: Replacing bmx pivotal seat bolt
Find a hard surface area and push the old bolt thru. It will pop out but have to wedge it out of the bolt cover. To put new one in, get the new bolt placed in the seat. Then start threading onto seatpost, it will pop into place.

Re: Replacing bmx pivotal seat bolt
Sorry to question you, but what purpose are you replacing the original for? Weight? You could just remove 1/4 inch of seat post. ![]()
