XS Six Shooter hubs - bent axles
Hello everyone. I'm in the process of restoring a 1999 Schwinn Pro Stock 2 and have run into several hurdles with it. Right now I'm trying to decide whether or not to salvage the wheels. They have XS Six Shooter Hubs - sealed - but both axles are bent at the ends (the bend starts where the wheel mounts to the dropouts on each side. Any ideas where I can find some replacement axles? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If you pull the axles out you should be able to get new ones spun by a machine shop fairly cheap. Or once you pull them goto the Local Bike Shop and see if they have them as you never know.
