Re: 84 Redline score
Nice! Clean it and ride it!
I have a question that popped up-the rear dropout you have in the pics is the date stamp (?)-G0384- is similar to those stamped on some of my predators. (G0385, G0883, G1082) Drops were from the same parts manu i suppose, they are similar shapes, but the legs on yours extend further up the stays....were these Redlines built in the USA? cause those predators were not. If so, its interesting that they may have got the dropouts from the same manu.

From what I have researched the it goes like this.
G0384
G= Giant made
03= march
84 = 1984
As for the Predators I'm not to sure?
Sorry

Re: 84 Redline score
Nice 500a, I've got one of these to build up, encouraging! ![]()
For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will scarcely die for a righteous person--though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die-- but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Re: 84 Redline score
Yeh Schwinns would have been made by Giant too, Giant got its start with a large order from Schwinn in the early 70's. You did damn good that 500a is almost complete. If it had come with the pads t would have been a grand slam.
