2ND ANNUAL DC SPRING RIDE 4/21/2013
It's time again for the 2nd annual DC spring ride and swap meet 4/21/2013!!!!!! We will meet at the same spot as last year. Gravelly Point Park, George Washington Memorial Parkway, Arlington, VA, 22202. Heading North up the parkway just look for the park signs not far past Reagan National Airport. If you're coming South actually go in to the Airport and follow the signs to go back North on the GW Parkway. They have a large, FREE parking lot with restrooms at them and a nice bike trail that we take to head in to the District. We will meet between 10-12am and head out at 12ish for the ride so plenty of time to check out rides and swap or sell parts though I would like the focus to be more on the ride. Last year we did an easy 8 mile route with plenty of stops. I will definitely be extending that route this year but I'm sure we will have plenty of stops but want to get more riding in this time! There are plenty of places to stop and eat and drink in DC including food trucks on the streets. We had a great turn out last year of about 40 riders I would love to top that this year! I don't care what you ride but would like to keep it BMX unless you can get your wife to come out with you and she sports a more comfy ride that's cool. Other than that Old, Mid or New school is all good!

I won't know until we get closer to the date. Both of my kids are playing lacrosse this spring. And my daugthers games are on Sundays. So until their calanders are posted I will not know. I hope so. I should be getting my new whip later this week.
