1980 Schwinn Scrambler Before and After

Well its not my best work nor is it really anything that special but since I love bringing the dead back to life, I thought I would share a before and after shot of my latest build project.  I picked up the frame from a member here on BMX Museum and I originally intended to make a tribute to an old friend of mine's bike.  I soon after picked up a better frame for the job so I just putthis one together with spare parts.  Its obviously not 100% accurate but regardless I think it turned out pretty decent.  At least it is once again a BMX bike!

How did you make it stand up without a stand?

Wanted- White Industries Freewhee 19T and 20T, Mongoose Stainless Steel bars for a Moosegoose, and Big Gulp bars- because I think they look goofy enough to cruise with!

Looks great. Nice transformation!!!! cool

‎"First of all Rat, you never let on how much you like a girl. "Oh, Debbie. Hi." Two, you always call the shots. "Kiss me. You won't regret it." Now three, act like wherever you are, that's the place to be. "Isn't this great?" Four, when ordering food, you find out what she wants, then order for the both of you. It's a classy move. "Now, the lady will have the linguini and white clam sauce, and a Coke with no ice." And five, now this is the most important, Rat. When it comes down to making out, whenever possible, put on side one of Led Zeppelin IV."

That bike was all tweaked out! lol  You did that frame some justice and I would like to personally thank you in its behalf.

hottubfan: If you want that seat I might be able to track it down at no charge.

Thanks man!  Now I am just hoping to find it a good home! Hoping someone will take it off my hands.  I have too many bikes still.
