Team Goose Score

Just traded some stuff I had lying around for an old basket case Team 'Goose.  Anyone have an idea on the bars?

Re: Team Goose Score

Cool pickup, the bars look like cruiser bars almost? I would say they came off a 70s dept. store bike of some kind

Re: Team Goose Score

If it is the one I used to have I dont think it is a team. But I may be completely off on that.

Re: Team Goose Score

A team would have a T at the beginning of the serial I believe.

Correct they also only made teams in candy blue, candy red, and chrome.

I wouldn't be here today if the old school didn't pave the way.

A chrome frame with a T in the searial number would have been a Supergoose.

The whole thing is pretty much a dead give away. The frame still could have been painted over, but I'm kind of doubting it.

Re: Team Goose Score

Only real way to tell would be the serial, or the flat chainstay.  Also Supergooses and teams did not have a T in the serial after Mid 81.

Are the Tuff wheels spray painted? If not, they are super rare. I think 1978 was the only year for white Tuff wheel I's. smile

Re: Team Goose Score

With the coaster brake tab on the chainstay, that has to be a Motomag frame.

Re: Team Goose Score

But, it has a gold stem. It could be a team with that stem. Right?

JK.

The real nugget here guys, in addition to the stem is Tuff I's in white. They pop up maybe once a year. One year only of manufacture. 76 or 77 only.
