Today's scrap yard rescue... But what is it?
Rescued this guy from the scrap yard light iron pile today. It was inter-tangled with a bent Team Murry Track Certified.
My 1st thought was a Raleigh, my 2nd thought was Schwinn. I looked through the listings of both and found similarities but no match. So I'm asking the Museum Members, what is it? Frame has no visible serial #, only stamp is an X on the brake bridge (shown in pic).

Re: Today's scrap yard rescue... But what is it?
Knew it was Dept Store type due to the welds. Didn't think Murry made a freestlye frame... ![]()
There was a Diamond back f/f also but the forks were destroyed. Might go back for the DB tomorrow, kinda regret not taking it but wasn't sure I only had a few bucks so I didn't know if I'd have enough money for the poundage I was taking.

Build it, Ride it and Break it. That what it was made for.
