Hutch Deep H Stem experts Opinions needed please
Hi there Hutch experts of the Museum,
I would really like to have your opinion this re-edition of the Hutch Deep H stem as detailed in the pics linked below.
More precisely I am curious to know the following:
- What is the level of quality of these more recent re-editions and do they perform well in real life track riding?
- Have you ever seen one yourself by any chance and would you put one on a good quality old school build like a Pro Racer or XL24 (Flight cranks, re-edition Graphite Tuffs, etc...)?
- Are there a lot of these out there and would you know approximately what year they where manufactured?
- Are these real legit new Hutch products actually made by the recently official Hutch BMX company (hutchbmx.com) owned by a fellow named john De Bruin, or are they illegal knock-off copies?
- Do you know where it is possible to get one of these & how much do they run for?
Thank you in advance for reading this and for your answers as I really need to know if I am getting one like this or not for my long-awaited rebuild Hutch project.
I am looking forward to get your feedback.
Have a good one,
F. Trudeau

I can not sit still. I have been tested for A.D.D. and A.D.H.D. and have neither. I don't need coffee, I just need a B.M.X. or surfboard to consistently ride and I'll be happy.

Re: Hutch Deep H Stem experts Opinions needed please
I think that JBD has sold out of most all the parts he had on his site, so your best chance is to find one would be here or Ebay. I'm sure you can find one any where from 170-300$. I have one sitting around I plan to use, but its missing the hutch logo, so I think some have the logo up front and some don't I'm guessing. I just saw one on eBay the yesterday , I think it went for 200$. Might be better off at that point and keep your eye out for an OG on too at that price, what's a few more bucks at that point ,

Thanks guys for your replies and the welcome to the forum.
Also I appreciate the advise for posting Robk as I did not know I could not post in two different forums.
Did not know which forum was better suited but what you wrote makes sense.
Your insight into this is definitely useful Spector.
Indeed I see it might not be as interesting as getting an OG but the interesting ones I have seen for sale lately were going for fantastic bundles of money... Kinda crazy.
Anyone who has a mint condition polished or black one for sale at 200$ should contact me asap ![]()

Re: Hutch Deep H Stem experts Opinions needed please
Ya, I just looked it up again, the one I just saw on the bay went for 260$...I guess it's possible the prices might be inching up since he's out of stock on his site. Not sure if and when he plans to make more. Just keep your eye out , one will pop up again. Good luck!

Re: Hutch Deep H Stem experts Opinions needed please
...Yeah Mtbwrxwagon I did mean a mint OG for 2 Benjies but it actually was sorta of a joke.
That said anyone can feel free to contact me if they would like to sell me one of those at that price - Maybe I can go up to 220$ if they are unused and in the box ![]()

Re: Hutch Deep H Stem experts Opinions needed please
I think you might have the solution ESP. Thx
Pretty tough to gather all the OG parts in good enough shape to ride on a track safely & to get them all in few months time in order to complete a build.
Maybe I can get one of these and ride the hell out of it and get an OG in great condition at the right price when the opportunity opens up.
OG is the ultimate but they are so hard to find at reasonable $$$.
Any member offering a re-issue or an healthy + well-priced OG Deep H stem please contact me so I can get this puppy up and ready to carve some berms and attack tabletops

I also have a blue one without the logo on the front, when I bought it from JDB site he said he only had 2 left, this was about a year ago and they haven't been re-stocked that explains the 261.00 on ebay which isn't a crazy mark up they were 179 new.
Looking for some reasonably priced Revcore parts for a Hutchins build.
Always looking for nice SKYWAY parts & gear.
