araya 7b versions??
Can someone tell me if Araya had 2 different versions of their 7b rim style. Ive had many many sets in every color, of both 1st gen and 2nd gen and havent seen 7b's with such a severe bend and flat top like these

notice how sharp the center area bend is. Its almost flat on top, then sharply bends down. Not like any 7b rim that ive ever had. Which have always been very concave/round in the middle and slowly bend down to the inside corner. These are very reminiscent of a weinman 7b style rim. Even in all the ads Ive seen, including the araya rim catalog which didnt show that rim style. Did araya buy out weinman bitd and run out their stock? Or did araya use the weinman design before changing it. I know that sounds like a long shot but the stamping on the above ebay rims are 2nd gen, which wouldnt make sense since the 7b 1st gen rims were already on the market.

No, ive got pairs of those too. A 7L has just a slight dome in the middle that sort of curves up at the ends where it meets the sidewall
